Hi! Thank you for your votes for Cherries - I'm glad you enjoyed those chapters. :) Since you like poetry and short stories, you might like some of my other work as well. I'm going to have to read more of your work - The Bridge of Spirits is haunting and beautiful.

@greatblueheron oh hey thanks for reading the bridge of spirits, I'm glad you liked it. I'll make sure to stop by and read some of your shorts. I'm enjoying Cherries now and wondering what a real cocktail cherry tastes like... :)

New Poem out - We are different. They say.

This one is dedicated to one of the best nonfiction Authors of our times -Laura Hillenbrand and everyone else who knows someone, or who has SEID/ME - Systemic Exertion Intolerance Disease/Myalgic Encephalomyelitis .

It's definitely been an eye opening journey for me about people in systems and how badly many behave to vulnerable populations. I always understood that there were 'good, bad and guess it doesn't matter people' as sung by Garbage - but I hadn't felt it until I became part of a misunderstood minority.

For more on SEID: New York Times Article : - A disease doctors refuse to see. http://mobile.nytimes.com/2015/02/25/opinion/understanding-chronic-fatigue.html?referrer=

@JoeCottonwood oh I'm sorry she's affected to, I did wonder.

I think I might've read her piece on mold - something to do with going camping. Which I hope to do one day.
I try not to get angry at the way people treat myself and other people with this disease but sometimes it boils over.

Julies article was a great help, I was able to forward it to doctors and friends and it did make a difference.. And my Grandma is finally not embarrassed now that my illness is in the NYTimes. Thanks so much for your comment. Please mention my thanks to Julie next time you cross her path. I'm sure she has been swamped by people being thankful.

            :)
