@elephant44 I finished that book ages ago, like so many others I read, just like ure self some one will pop in to my conversation, some times its good and other times not so. I thought she was human and then kidnapped, and they put her in the tank and took her memory away of her loving family.

I already finished reading the book and she was created in a lab. Duncan took sperm and an egg from two friends of his who were struggling to have kids and then killed them off so he could continue adding to her genetics.
