Hello! I'm Juli Monae. 

Why I write: 

Much like reading, writing allows me to relax and escape to another world. It is reprieve from the stress of daily life, and weaving my own characters and landscapes leaves me with a satisfaction that nothing else does. I feel like the proud mother of all my characters and the crazy goddess of their little worlds (maniacal laughter). 

I have always loved reading and I'm constantly daydreaming about both the worlds of my favorite novels and the ones I am working to create. Writing is relatively new to me, but it is the way I express myself and I love it.
