From the moment I could both read and write, I have felt the urge to press pencil to paper, my fingers always accompanied by the burning desire to tell a story. I'm not sure when it was but I think it must have been kindergarten because one of my very first memories at school was of me writing down on a piece of paper every word of the page I was reading. It was a children's book and I think that maybe we were supposed to be writing something of our own, I was just so fascinated by the story that I couldn't help but to write it down. That being said, my memory is not the most reliable, but I still find it to be a statement that I did that so young and felt such satisfaction from writing itself even then.
