I know this wasnt for me, but this is in regards to your reply to 2 hungry guinea pigs. But I want to thank you anyway. I’ve been recently thinking about that possibility for myself and I’m a little nervous to get tested on the possibility of it being negative. Then I think what is wrong with me? But this helped a lot. I’m not broken, just different. And sometimes no explanation is ok. Because me is a perfect way to be. Sounds cringe but bear with me TwT

@Tillotson4 *insert well written, inspirational response* /j In all seriousness, I’m so happy I was able to help you on that part. I used to feel like I needed an explanation for everything that I did, and as someone who struggles to understand my own brain’s functionality most of the time, I rarely had one. Often times I would try to explain something to someone, but later it would come back to bite me because it either wasn’t a proper explanation, or it was contradictory to some other explanation I’ve given for something else, and I was stuck trying to justify something I didn’t understand. I’m not sure exactly what happened, but a few months ago I decided “who cares?” and decided to just be- me. No need to justify myself for being different. No explanations for why I act ‘weird’. Just me. And it has genuinely made me so much happier, confident, and comfortable with myself. I’m still respectful to people, but I don’t mask how I’m feeling out of fear that I’ll have to justify it with a label. It’s easier said than done, but I hope that/am so happy that I was able to help you feel more secure about yourself because you are right: you is the perfect way for you to be ❤️
