There was this chick at school rocking a Green Day shirt and it took all my self control not to scream out, "I WALK THIS EMPTY STREET," expecting her to reply with, "ON THE BOULEVARD OF BROKEN DREAMS!"

Apparently I have survived my first day of school.

What are the odds that out of seven-hundred students one kid go into all six of my classes?

Anyways, it wasn't too bad. My Spanish teacher is so hysterical. He told us if we brought spiral notebooks he would pull the spine out and shove it up out noses. Gaaah! There's so much more but he's SO funny!

Anyways, the real reason I'm bothering you is because I think I'm going to put all my books on hold. My academics mean more than some publishing app, I'm sorry to say. There might be some random updates but don't get your hopes up. I can't be having distractions.

I'm so sorry for the inconvenience.

A shout of to @Blobfish01 on this very special day! Love ya!

"'Beauty is on the inside.' Wrong. Inside we are all ugly. Broken, destroyed, haunted, ugly souls inside. However, haven't you heard? Ugly is a different kind of beautiful. Ugly is the NEW beautiful."

@TheLifeOfCrystal Yes, thank you as well.

I would expand on the libido part, I have studied due to my own orientation, but I feel as though our points have already been made clear enough.

I did want to say a little something on animals, though. Sure, they don't define "beauty" and "ugliness", but even they have a ranking system. A preferable mate will be one with strength, protection, etc. They do fair better than our social rankings, but in a way, they do have their own. Not this had much do with emotions and all, I figured it would an interesting tidbit to include.

But that's about it. I've learned a lot and I will pass it forth in any other arguments about the topic. Thank you. :3

@FoodDrinks Ok. That's interesting. That all makes sense.

I realize I had another point I didn't expand on, and that's loss or gain of libido due to physical attraction or repulsion. However, as I don't know much about the science of this, I'm going to move on.

So you brought up animals also having a sense of emotion– grief, excitement, fear, etc. This makes me wonder if animals, for all that we've evolved and adapted beyond them, might be better off than us being able to feel emotion, but probably without the same abstract concepts that humans create and consider.

No real way to find out though, I guess.

On a side note, for some reason whenever I read your original message, I keep going "haven't you heard that I'm the new cancer, I've never looked better and you can't stand it,". Which doesn't make sense because it wasn't stuck in my head at the time, it's not the same number of syllables, and it's not all that similar a line.

Anyways. Thanks for the debate (slash bringing-up and clarification of ideas).

Pt. 2

Now to bring this back around to my points on beauty and ugly. You're right, they shouldn't exist. Someone how many years ago decided that, say, trees were beautiful. What if someone else was there to make the decision and wanted it to be poop? So, beauty and ugly are an ever changing subject, as you say, nearly impossible to comprehend. It's so confusing and hard to follow, but it's there. You can't really get rid of it, though. They're just words, like everything else, which in the whole, bring you emotions. They only truth is going to be the emotions, but those are typically kept locked away.

I'm not sure if I necessary "debated" you, but I did feel the need to more clarify myself on what I meant versus what I said. Another common flaw in humanity, but nothing is "perfect". Yet another word too broad to put into words.

You made perfect sense to me, but I ended up rambling beyond the point of understanding. It was fun though. Thank you for pouring some incite into me.

Didn't mean to post that last thing, please ignore it and I apologize for my spam.

Anyways, as I was saying, I don't mean to step on letstwistagain's toes, but I really want to get my feelings out to even my very small clan of followers. I will post these every now and then, no set time yet though. So, without further ado, here I go.

"I've heard people say, 'Don't try to be someone you're not.'

That's all fine and dandy, but what if this new person makes you happy.

Be who you WANT to be. Don't force something you hate, but also don't change for the benefit of others. The only person that matters is YOU. Forget society, you are one flipping beautiful person. If what you are/want to be makes you happy, then live it up.'
