Artists make terrible protagonists. 
Too much heart in the art, too much art in the heart, and absolutely no idea what to do about either. 
They do, however, treat sleep deprivation like a career choice. 
I find all of this deeply relatable. That's why I wrote a book about it.
Class of 2000. First novel. I knew exactly what I was getting into and got into it anyway.
Currently writing from Italy, which is either very on-brand or a conflict of interest. Possibly both.
