I regularly forget how many followers I have on here. But at times like this I remember and it blows my mind. It blows my mind that so many people read my stuff. It’s crazy.

But since apparently so many of you do,
Which scene that I have written made you cry the most? And why?
Cause i know which ones i cried writing. But occasionally i get comments referring to scenes that i didn’t expect to be as hard hitting.

Also which of my characters did you think have the biggest impact on you? I’ve been writing for 9 years now (almost a decade, bloody hell) and I know which of my books held more of a personal journey for me. I wonder as readers, which one was it for you?

          	Just curiosity.

@Frayed-Apart Supernova and your Druig books have made me especially emotional. I can't remember if it was God Save Us or Impossible, but the one with the ex boyfriend who put him on a pedestal? And it ended... terribly, to put it simply? That whole thing and the wound he still had physically from it, too... oof, it made me cry for sure. And then the whole first part of Supernova and it ending with him only having his best friend with him in the end hit me hard as well. It's been a while since I've read them, but they def stuck with me. I gotta reread em, I'm due for it.

As for characters... I frequently reread your PotC books (currently rereading it too lol) and Stained Glass Windows. Add Darling to that, too, I've reread that multiple times as well. Benjamin, though... I love him so freaking much. I don't know what it is, but he's so special to me. He's just so loyal and witty and romantic and free spirited and UGH idk, I love him and the dynamics he has with the people in his life. I also like that he's interested in both in the couple and not just one. A two for one will ALWAYS catch my eye.

@Frayed-Apart Honestly I think the scene that hit me the hardest was Basil's last letter or last talk to his brother if I remember correctly where he confessed to him about his sexuality and how it was unfair that he lived in a world where he would be persecuted for that. It just hit me really hard especially when you go on to learn that his brother spent the rest of his life fighting for gay rights and equality. And that his and James' letter would later serve as a testament to how gay people have always existed. In a time where people love to deny the LGBTQ+ community it served as a nice reminder even in fiction that we have always existed and no matter how hard they try to bury our past the truth will always come to light. For the character that made the biggest impact on me for obvious reasons would be Basil Parrish. :)

Wattpad banning smut is such a bad plan. They’re going to loose out so much.
Also Wattpad users moving to A03, please learn the etiquette.
Literally the only reason why I write my stuff on Wattpad is that this space is friendlier to OC fanfics. Also I find it easier to upload on here. But I nearly always read on A03. I don’t really read on here. I also do publish some works on A03 which are not OC works and therefore separate from this stuff.
So if you are moving mostly to read on A03, be respectful and learn the etiquette.
Fanfics are written out of love. Don’t ruin that.

@BuckyFriggason So I found the invitation section, but it said I don't have any unsent ones, and I can't request any right now. I've never sent one before, so maybe they're just being stricter with them? ‍♀️

 Just watched the new Spider-Man.
Which of my two ongoing Spider-Man Fics do you want updated first?
Tin Can Boy or Self Esteem?

Frayed-Apart

@Feketealkony16 No. that series is already complete. I have no plans to continue Emil’s story.

I’m trying to think of tropes I have written. Just to keep track for myself.

Strangers to lovers; Stasis, blue swords, school boy, dead.

Friends to lovers; god save us, impossible, bug boy, supernova.

          Identity issues; beastly, manners

Fated love ; pathetic, stained glass windows, night life, Blue swords, wild things.

Childhood friends to lovers; Orphic, self esteem, darling, bloodstains.

Enemies to lovers; bellicose, manners, for me.

High school; bombs, bug boy, self esteem, baby.

If there is a trope I haven’t written that you would like to read, feel free to suggest below.

Frayed-Apart

Debating an Avatar (Cameron movies) fic.
cause, wellI haven’t written aliens before. Why not?
It can join my other unpublished drafts along with a Jacaerys fic, Alucard (castlevania), Spencer Reid, Chekov (the reboots).

At this point there are very few tropes that I haven’t written. If anyone wants to suggest a trope and a fandom (that I know) then, Go for it.

Did any of you readers in the uk and Europe see the solar eclipse today? It was amazing!
The next one in the uk is not going to happen until 2090 apparently.
Really grateful that I was able to see this one.

@Frog_On_A_Rock Greetings! I only got the glasses cause some other couple had finished using them and gave them to us. We ended up sharing them with strangers and just passing them around to take looks.

Frog_On_A_Rock

@Frayed-Apart I saw the shooting stars afterwards but kinda missed the eclipse T^T

I sadly wasn’t able to get any proper glasses cuz they were literally sold out EVERYWHERE. And the sun was also hidden behind a forest on a hill for the entire duration of the eclipse ._.*

            Greetings from Austria btw!

For some reason Wattpad isn't allowing me to post replies to questions on my conversations page.

          To answer those questions here,
@HinaAxalop - I have several drafts in the works. Three are one for Jacaerys from HOTD, one for Alucard from Castlevania, and another for Chekov from the Star Trek reboot series.

For @Starnightsky264 - That is a really interesting question. I tend to build my OCs around defining events. So if I watch a show and a character dies, then how would I save them? If the character is shot with an arrow then does my character dive in front of it? Do they pull them out of the way? I then build their character from that event, with inspiration from various other media I have seen. For example, if they jump in the way of the arrow, are they a reckless and defiant individual? Or if they pull someone out of the way are they a quieter person. My thought processes are often chaotic but I often tend to build my character around how I'd imagine them to react rather than off any defining existing character.

Thank you for the questions. I hope to update more books soon.

Frog_On_A_Rock

@Frayed-Apart That’s super cool! I also think it always makes the character react or act authentic if they’re literally inspired by how they react in different situations!

Someone suggested that I should do more reader engagement, cause I have a tendency to go MIA. (Sorry not sorry).
So anyway, anyone got any questions for me (not about updates) or about my books that I have not answered before?

Frayed-Apart

@pjkjzyh hello yes I am planning to write a Jacaerys fic. I have several draft chapters out already. I will probably wait until I’ve completed a different book before publishing it though. I’m glad you like my works

Starnightsky264

@Frayed-Apart how do you choose what the main character will be like? their always so interesting and amazing. Do you base it off another favourite character you've seen/read about?
Love your work <3 I can't wait to read more
