Please help me find this book
It starts with a doctor (male) getting of his shift, he says goodbye to a nurse and leave the hospital, where he sees a woman crying at a bench. He goes to her to try to help her, turns out she is a vampire, waiting to die. (I can’t remember if she revealed to him there and there). He takes her back to his apartment to try and help her, where they start to fall for each other. The man reveals that he was once married and his ex ruined him, by telling him he was useless. They go to a bar where the meet another vampire that tells her what mates? are.
Her stepbrother? I believe was that one who turned her, he took her, and she had runaway to the hospital. Somewhere along the way, they end up adopting a child I think. Is anyone knows this story please help me out, I’ve been looking for this book for a year or so, I have given up, but it keeps popping up in my head.
