Fuck, okay:
          
          In the past several months, my home situation has gotten very bad very fast. Without going into unnecessary detail: I am being threatened with loss of tuition if I do not get rid of approximately half of my personal possessions. I am also not allowed privacy or autonomy, and have come dangerously close to being outed gender-wise multiple times. This is making this a really unsafe place for me to be.
          
          This has made it extremely difficult to actually reliably work on long-form stuff. I've been writing off and on for small flashfics for friends, but that is literally all I can manage. I don't know when Judicium will update again. When it does, it will probably be in a different form. I'm sorry.

          I'm not dead. And I'm actually genuinely sorry to vanish like that for so long and leave things hanging.
          
          The short explanation is that, as of writing this, I have been sick for just about four months—in fact, I wasn't even able to finish NaNoWriMo, since my health took such a severe nosedive during November that ended up choosing graduating senior year with my immune system not completely destroyed over finishing the Asp draft.
          
          I'm still sick and it's moved into my throat and lungs, so I'm still going to be a bit erratic—though hopefully not quite as erratic as a three-month gap. God. Sorry. D:

Welp. It appears that my faithful old Simba has finally kicked the bucket and can no longer run multiple applications at once without freezing and threatening to crash. Time for exhaustive data backup I guess. This is why Judicium's document autosaves to Google Drive every ten minutes.
          
          My new machine should be here sometime this week and thank GOD because otherwise I'd probably cry, seeing as NaNoWriMo starts in... what, four days? Oh god. Oh fuck. I'm so screwed. I'm going to cry.
          
          On the bright side: I'm drafting Asp, Judicum's sequel, this year. Which means I'll still be in that universe's mindset and I can prooooobably actually keep editing while working on wordcount. Watch me crash and burn, of course, but maybe if I say it enough times it'll turn out to be true.

Holy shit I'm sorry that update was so delayed and then so short. I'm going to make a reasonable attempt to get back on schedule now and update at LEAST once before NaNo.

Next chapter will be slightly delayed because I got a sinus infection and kind of got knocked out of the rotation.
          
          Will things happen? Will Linnet finally stop being weirdly cagey about whatever's going on with the witches? Probably not because plot, but one can hope.

Okay, I didn't really want to have to do this, but I'm temporarily bumping Judicium's update schedule down to every other week instead of every week. Work is kicking my ass, and Nanowrimo's coming up so I'm gearing into plotting mode again instead of rewriting/editing mode.
          
          Through November I probably won't be updating at all to spare my wrists the agony. This isn't a cancellation—I just really want more time to edit things, honestly, and I'm having to fit it all in around life events. (Screw life fantasy is way more fun.)
          
          I don't know where I was going with this uh. Oops.

If I seem unusually social it's because I finally got back into 1x1 roleplay on Tumblr. Kick me if I start writing in present tense for Judicium (it's actually my favorite tense; don't tell past tense I said that though).
