'The Bastard Queen' isn't going anywhere (damn you, writer's block!!) so I've revived a story from a few years ago: Donald, the Barbarian. Take a look, tell me what you think.

Made a minor change to Chapter Five of "The Bastard Queen". I switched out the word 'golem' with 'draugr'. While there are flesh golems in fiction--Frankenstein's monster being the most famous, of course--a 'golem' is most often depicted as having been made from clay in Jewish mythology and folklore and I wasn't satisfied with using the word because of that. A draugr is an undead creature from Norse mythology, closer to being a zombie, and that's what I wanted. So, any way. . .Just one word was changed.
