I can’t reply anymore on the chapter lol but my kids and I used to have a HUGE brown and yellow garden orb Weber we named Charlotte she would anchor her web on the ground 4 feet from the front door we would rub her tether rope to say hi to her and she would come out to greet us we would kill all the males and other spiders who kept trying to take over her webit was crazy

@Dryadgreentree oh I can sympathise with the poor lad. I'm nearly 2 score years old, and my sister can still terrify me with the right arthropod.

No I have not >\< my 12 yr refuses anything spider in the house his baby sister she was 3 at the time chased him with a plastic spider while he screamed and cried

@Dryadgreentree Ooh I love that book! I have an edition of it that's older than I am, that my aunt gave me second-hand! Are you sure you weren't just killing potential suitors or her kids though? Have you seen the Vanripper comic on spiders?
