I have struggled with OCD, ADHD, Anxiety, and Autism all of my life, until one night, I took my focus medicine instead of my sleep medicine, then proceeded to spend the entire night writing some semblance of plot. That was six years ago, and in all of that time I've turned True Colors from random tired scribbles on a notebook to a book that I am proud of. I have the whole book written, and will announce when I publish the whole thing.
