Sometimes I wonder what drives people that write a chapter in a week even though their normal lives are pretty hectic. 
          Please, where can I find some of this mystical writing juice you've clearly gotten high on. 
          Chapter 2 is on the way. I can't say when I'll post it but I do hope I write it quick enough. At this rate, I might never get done, lol.

Something funny just happened, lol. (I have no idea why I'm posting this over here)
          I just told my sister that I wanted to start working on my second chapter. She stared at me blankly for a few seconds before telling me the following in her funniest Nigerian accent. 
          "Please, this is how you'll sit in front of me asking me to read chapters that you will tear thirty minutes later. Cancle. Cancle. Cancle. Where is it taking you? Can't you just write straight for once. It's almost stressful to see you write. Youre making my OCD act up. You will spend one year on this your 'second chapter' abi?"
          And the sad thing is she is soooo true. That is infact my writing process. 
          I'll write and pass it to her or a close friend of mine (Akin) to read. They'll tell me not to cancle (which is a joke within itself) and all of a sudden, I find myself starting all over again. 
          Heres to my second chapter, people. 
          Hopefully it makes sense (at some point).
          

After about fifty years of attempting and failing to write A QUEEN OF ICE's first chapter, I've gotten somewhere relatively reasonable (I think). 
          I cancelled all the first chapters I wrote before because I thought they weren't good enough but I guess it's time for me to put my work out there. 
          Forgive me if you read it and see any errors. I'll come back to edit it (again) at the end of the week but I just needed to publish it. I needed to tell myself that my first chapter was good enough for other people to see. 
          Please, if you read it, tell me what you think yah? I hope you find it interesting. 

So... Ive done something quite funny. I said I would post my first chapter this weekend but apparently that first chapter has become...drumroll please... my PROLOGUE. Yay(note the sarcasm over here). I appologise profusely for my inaccuracy though. School has been hectic and I have a test on Sunday (I'm not even kidding. It's on Sunday folks). 
          Basically, everything is topsy turvy and all I can think about is my first chapter. FML. I promise to do better next time. 
          I can assure you that this story will be a good one, though. Please, if you have the time, give it a go (as soon as I post the first chapter). The prologue will have to do for now, though. 
          

Omg Hi. 

Well, all my plans have been dashed. I intended to post the first chapter today but things didn't work out. A friend told me to post it when I'm ready but as all new-ish writers do, I question if I'll ever be ready. I've got all these amazing ideas pent up in my head but I can't seem to find the time or the right words to express them. It's terrible, really. I won't stop writing though. I hope that I'll be able to post it tomorrow or sometime next week. I can promise that the story will be good though. I'll put my best foot forward and write as well as I can and hopefully the story ends up being an amazing read. 

The first chapter of my new novel A QUEEN OF ICE is underway. I should be able to post it (after thoroughly editing it) between today and tomorrow. I hope it comes out good cause it feels amazing in my head .
