Hi! Why did you delete your previous stories? They were so good and different from other Indian romances who are mostly about arrange marriages and billionaires. There was that Tara and Vivek one I think. I loved that. It was gossip, manipulation something.

I love that so many people are choosing to read the Silently Falling in Love series. It looks like the algorithms keep promoting the original edited version. If you've chosen this book I highly recommend you reading the edited version - they will only be up for a short amount of time as I am in the processing of getting them published.

Does anyone know when WP is going to give an update on the forums? What is going to replace it? I have so many questions I'd like to discuss with other authors and if we can't do it here where can we go?

Now that the forums are gone are writers going somewhere else to chat? It feels so weird to not have the forums. It was a great resource for me. I tried to search on Twitter but wasn't able to see any community building for WP to discuss various issues. Would love any suggestions for where writers can meet and discuss.
Me too! I'm not a FB user and I don't like how much they invade your privacy and use your data. I'm wondering if there is another platform out their for writers to come together or just another writing platform that does have forums. If you hear of any that you like please do let me know. I keep getting messaged from people to join other sites but I haven't seen a site that I like. I'm losing motivation to keep coming to WP and updating my stories here if the forums are gone.
@GauriDevi I haven't heard of anything, although I'd be very willing to start a group on Facebook. I miss the forums. Terribly.

it's been a very long time since I wrote something new and I apologize for not paying enough attention to The Last Sketch but here's an updated chapter. The story is living in my head and I hope to post more frequent updates. As of right now I have a lot of steamy scenes floating around in my head. I just saw from another author's post that the forums are closed. WTF? Does anyone know about this? I wasn't even aware of this change? Did anyone get notified?
@GauriDevi I’m still in shock from it, too. I expect a mass exodus from writers. I wonder how many writers will take up those scam offers because there’s no one to tell them not to. I’d be very tempted if I didn’t know any better.
It's crazy the only solution they can come up with is to get rid of all of the forums. That's like throwing the baby out with the bath water! You're right about the plagiarism comment. And yes I agree what happens to the new writers. This has been a great platform and this is where I got my start. For all of the competing platforms, now is the time to poach from Wattpad because now many of use will be looking for another community. I'm still trying to get over the shock of all of this. What was the management of WP thinking?
@GauriDevi One minute we could post...and then a little while later, I went back to the site and it was in "Read Only" mode, with their notice that they were pretty much stopping the forums posted at the top. I don't think any additional notice was given. They mentioned that they wanted to provide a "safe space," etc. So...we get nothing. That's our safe space. The website that promotes itself as a social site just took away the social part of it. I don't know if I will post any other work here. I feel that if I can't go to the threads and ask for a critique or for help, I'm not sure it's worth the risk of having someone plagiarize it. Fortunately, I have Facebook friends who are awesome Beta readers. I feel sorry for the writers who are just starting out here. Their work will never be read.
