I once woke up surrounded by 70's style furniture in a poorly lit nursing home. I didn't know how I got there, or even where there was. Even threw my oxygen mask I could smell the hint of something that I hadn't smelled since unloading public storage outside my grandmother's lake house. My mind traveled to my grandmother in a hospital bed. The thoughts of her going nuts not knowing where she was, or even who my mother was.
That is what must be happening to me I had grown old gone nuts and forgotten my life. I wondered if I had ever tried writing, tried music again. I wondered if I would ever write again.
