Born in Scotland, Georgina Merry has been actively involved in both writing and the performing arts from a young age. In 2004 she graduated with honors from Queen Margaret University with play writing as her specialist subject. After years of juggling full-time work and writing articles & reviews for local publications, she now works as a freelance writer, author, and critic,  as well as entertaining her passion for poetry. More recently, she was accepted to study a Master of Arts in creative writing at Napier University. She currently resides in East Lothian with her incredibly supportive husband and their daughter.
