I can’t very well answer ‘who are you?’ without blabbing a bit. It’s one of those tough you-can’t-get-it-right-at-first questions, like asking ‘what’s your favourite book’. Without much delay, I’m Patrick. Currently, as of January 2013, I'm 18 years old. You might notice the odd mistake here and there, but that’s mainly because I'm from a French school, and received virtually no professional education in English so far.

You might think ‘why are you doing English Literature, then?’ and you might be right. It is, I agree, a bit weird. But the high I feel when I grab a new book is like nothing I can describe. I’ve never been a spiritual person, but I guess this larger-than-life intimate emotional euphoria is something akin to ecstasy.


I'm using the pen name ‘Gergy’ as a special homage to individuals that have either knowingly or unknowingly influenced me.

I'm relatively new to this world, and so I welcome anyone who would like to share their opinion on matters I posted. True, as of now, they are not as diverse as I had hoped, but I have faith that I’ll be able to write more soon enough.
