I'm Giovanni Amella, a queer writer who explores the complexities of identity, love, and the messy beauty of being human. Storytelling has been a lifelong passion for me, and I write from a place of authenticity, believing that the most meaningful stories are those rooted in personal truth. My debut novel, Lost & Found, is a heartfelt exploration of connection and self-discovery-a love letter to my inner child and the stories I wish I had growing up.

When I'm not writing, I work in personal care, supporting adults with mental illness and intellectual disabilities-a role that has taught me deep compassion and a genuine understanding of others. Outside of work, you'll likely find me hiking through the forests and mountains of Pennsylvania, chasing the next breathtaking vista.

My Sicilian heritage and spiritual practices as a "Strego" are woven into both my life and my writing. Reading tarot cards, studying astrology, and connecting with the magic of the natural world fuel my creative process, inspiring me to infuse my stories with wonder and intention. Whether I'm writing at home, at work, or even in a laundry mat with coffee and a playlist, I embrace every moment of inspiration.
