Hey there! My name is Glenn Marata. I can't live without chocolate (preferably dark), whiskey (JD is expensive, so what?) and without books...and music also.

I write. I write a lot. Snippets, poems, songs, profanities (sometimes in the toilet cubicle) but when the god of mood is benevolent I write stories. I have a couple of them scattered in my rack and in my closet.

Mainly, I write stuff that delves deeper into the human mind. I like to expound on the different factors that drives/affects it such as beliefs, emotions, culture, etc. I have to admit that my leanings are on the darker side (cue gloomy Chopin music here). I dig the works of Nietzche, Sagan, Dan Brown, Voltaire, Wilde and Robert Greene, so there.

On the lighter side (no pun intended), I'm somewhat a normal human being who is a psycho lover of music - both in the listening and creating aspects. I'm mainly a guitarist but I also play the piano, bass, drums, flute, and ukulele. I dig listening to death metal music (Napalm Death, anyone?) especially during my weekly running at the beach side.

Feel free to do hardcore comments, criticisms, and corrections on my works. As long as it is constructive and objective, spare me not! But if you like my works, well that would be the highest high for me.
