I stated before in the chapter notifying I was rebooting my reasons for pulling this move. Student Jotaro was cool. Nothing can ever disprove that for me. But I wanted to do more than cool. While I’m sure everyone enjoys a good all-action, fight first and ask questions later, one liner dropping protagonist, it really wouldn’t be much of a change if I made Jotaro an adult and a teacher.
He still has all of those traits, albeit some of them are a bit more concealed and controlled, but when the gloves are off, Part 3 Jotaro’s personality will be out to throw hands.
However, Part 4 just felt more…‘fitting’ in this case after I thought about it for a while. I reread through the old chapters over and over again, and I realised that having a student Jotaro just didn’t feel as good as an adult one. Having him be a teacher just feels like a better way for the story to go. Not only can Jotaro help out Class 1-A, but they can also help him through HIS problems and how he struggles to form good connections with people (and his own family).
I’ve got some ideas for Plus Ora now, so I’m gonna keep going with this brave move of mine and with any luck, it’ll work out lol
