I'm a writer, photographer, and small-business owner living in Montréal, Canada.

I came to Canada in 2006 after spending more than a decade working in Central Asia, where I lived among different languages, cultures, and histories. Along the way, I learned that sometimes the most interesting stories are hidden in ordinary people, forgotten places, old photographs, and things that seem unimportant at first.

I run a small photo and printing shop in Montréal, where I meet people from all kinds of backgrounds every day. Some come for a passport photo. Some bring photographs that have been sitting in a drawer for fifty years. Others come with stories of their families, their journeys, their losses, or simply something they want to preserve.

Those encounters often find their way into my fiction.

I write in both Chinese and English, and my stories tend to wander across time, memory, history, identity, and the strange boundaries between different worlds. I'm interested in stories that don't always have easy answers-and in the quiet moments that make impossible things feel strangely real.

I don't write because I have all the answers.

I write because there are still too many stories I want to tell.
