New writer of both; thrillers- with a slow start so far... ; and children's books; with a slightly futuristic twinge. I say 'slightly' because they are not full-on science fiction; more 'political' and espionagy as they are set only five years into the future. Sometimes I imagine them as being say ten years, fifteen or possibly thirty years ahead of us. Yet not too much more.
Despite these three stories that are 'first up' are set in the past- but takling newish attitudes to them as they were very much-as they are- 'present reality' then. If you know what I mean. I am hoping to make that clear in the ever-correctable writing.
