          Aaaand....now that it is done, I'd like to inform you all: Annulet's hiatus is going to extend a bit longer. 
          
          "WHY??" you may ask.
          
          Mainly because I'm not 100% happy with my outline for the story. I have the ending of the book mapped out already, but honestly it feels like it's missing the heart of the world which I had enjoyed so much when writing its predecessor, Plagium. As such, I decided some space would do the story well as I rework the book to be something that I'm proud of sharing with you all, my readers. I want you all to have the best quality I can offer, and taking the time to do so is one of my ways of making sure of that! :)
          
          
          Speaking of quality... Ivy and the Fluorescent Lightbulb is currently under some MAJOR revisions! I'll come back in a couple of months once I finalize some changes from my editor, but I'm *very* excited to get this newest version out into the world! Stay tuned with the method that I use to do this. ;)
          
          
          What to do during this unplanned hiatus extension?? Well... I do plan on sharing more over on my socials ;) I'm still working out my posting schedule, but I believe this hiatus will give me the needed time to find my social media voice and posting cadence (I've already started with posts--see my latest Ivy and the Fluorescent Lightbulb reel!).

          Additionally, I HIGHLY recommend you give this audio drama podcast a try: Victoriocity! It was a MAJOR inspiration for me to take up resuming and rewriting Plagium in the first place! The plot: an unexpected pairing hunt for a criminal in Even Greater London, but find themselves in the center of a much larger conspiracy than they anticipated.           Seriously, give it a try! Due to its genre of being an audio drama, it truly feels like an immersive TV show without the visuals. The professional-quality production really brings it together :)

Annulet update may be running a bit late this evening; I'm making some last-minute plot-checks to make sure all of the major elements have been incorporated.
          
          Be sure to check out this week's post when it comes out, as I had an exciting announcement tacked onto the bottom of the post 

UPDATE:
          
          So, we have one extra week before the hiatus starts for Annulet; this week's update turned out to be too long to be a single chapter, and has been split in two. The update will come this evening at 5PM EST as usual! :)

Hi guys!
          
          **Warning in advance, this is a longer than usual message**
          
          
          NOTICE: Annulet is about to enter a planned hiatus after this week's update. That being said, **this week's update may be delayed**, as I'm finalizing clues and details in the chapter, and I want to make sure I tie up any loose ends (I'll do my best to get it out no later than Sunday.)
          
          "But wait," you may say, "didn't you already finish the book before posting it?"
          
          ...that was the plan. 
          
          Unfortunately, I hit a creative block a couple of months ago, and have just recently gotten out of it. I've been playing catch-up with most of my projects, and have succeeded with most of them! Annulet, however, being such a delicate mystery with a lot of moving gears (steampunk pun 100% intended), required a lot of slow writing, mid-story editing, and PLENTY of cross-referencing between Plaguim, world-building notes, and plot notes. As such, it did not get caught up like my other projects.
          
          Worry not! 
          
          While the planned hiatus was originally so that I could take a break between writing projects, it will now be used to finish off the second half of the book. More details on the hiatus length and what to expect (because I'm not going to leave you guys Plagium-less during the hiatus *hint, hint*) will be included with this week's update!
          
          Just wanted to give you all full transparency on the going ons of my hectic writer's life haha
