Today is my birthday, me 21 now.

Jesus...I first joined Wattpad on April 18th, 2019. That’s seven years. Seven years of pouring my heart, my brain, my creativity, my energy, and my time into a platform i thought valued creators. Seven years of building stories, of creating worlds, of connecting with people who actually mattered to me, and seven years of thinking Wattpad would at least try to respect that.
          
          And now? Now, after everything, after watching what happened to one of my best friends named Jordan, after seeing accounts get terminated for no fucking reason other than corporate greed, i can say this loud and clear...Wattpad doesn’t care. Not about your stories, not about your time, not about your passion, not about your community. They don’t care about the friendships we’ve all built here, they don’t care about the creativity we’ve poured into this platform. All they care about is their bottom line, their stupid updates. Their so-called "improvements" that ruin the very features that made this place worth being on.
          
          I've defended this platform for years, i've defended it through the dumbest updates, the bugs, the removals, the changes that make zero sense, the times we were ignored when we had real problems. I defended it because i wanted to believe in the community. I defended it because i wanted to believe that creators mattered. I defended it because i wanted to be loyal. And now, seven years later, it’s crystal clear that loyalty is meaningless here. Wattpad doesn't earn loyalty, they steal it and spit it back out when it's convenient.
          
          After hearing what happened to my friend Jordan's account, seeing him lose access, seeing his hard work gone, seeing him be treated like it didn't matter...Enough was enough. I'm seriously considering moving all my work and ideas, not quitting writing, never that. Just moving it somewhere safer. Somewhere more stable. Somewhere built for creators, not investors.
          
          AO3 and Quotev are my only real best options right now.

Hey buddy, I know you'll never read this, but I'd recommend you start on another fanfic site if Wattpad treated you badly. Honestly, your "In My House" stories have some interesting and funny potential, but oh well, blessings. 

With all of the wattpad drama that has been going on with one of my very closest and bestest friends, i am actually considering on quitting this platform and move somewhere else cause i'm honestly tired, tired of defending a platform that clearly doesn't care...
