In the garden, a worm I did find,
A creature so small, yet of great kind.
Its life, so simple, yet so profound,
A tiny being, on the ground.
Its journey, a path of dirt and mud,
A symbol of resilience, a symbol of love.
Its purpose, to nourish the earth,
A humble creature, of great worth.
I saved this worm, from the cruel sun,
A small act of kindness, I had begun.
And as I did, a thought came to mind,
A reward for this act, I would find.
A perm, you say, a style so bold,
A transformation, a story to be told.
From saving a worm, to a new hairdo,
A tale of kindness, and a new attitude.
For in this act, I found a new way,
To see the world, and to live each day.
A small creature, a simple act,
A lesson in kindness, I did extract.
So here's to the worm, and the perm to come,
A symbol of change, and a life well-lived.
A reminder that kindness, big or small,
Can make a difference, and change it all.

So what does it mean, to be a hero?
It's more than just a word, it's something to show.
