Burn Baby Burn

Hello babes. I’m here to stop in and say no I didn’t forget about you all. I’ve been struggling a lot lately, my moms one year death anniversary just came and went, on top of work being more hectic than I ever imagined and other family stuff my writing had been on the back burner. I can’t say when, but I plan on releasing the rest of Glass Hearts soon. I’m working on the last few chapters so I can just release them all slowly. I’m hoping to have it all done before summers end, but no promises bc I just can’t seem to find the motivation or time. I love you all and the support has been beyond comprehension. ♥️

I feel someone steps close behind me, their large hands griping the exposed skin of my hips from my shirt that’s carelessly riding up. His flesh is like lava as it gropes at my own, if at all possible, making my body burn even hotter. He keeps a steady hold on me, joining me in synchronized movements as his pelvis attaches to my denim clad ass. He grinds into me, his excitement clear as I feel his groin grow with need. 
          
            “Aren’t you just a hot little thing?” Gravely voice grumbles in my ear, as his whiskey stained breath sends a shiver up my spine. 
            
            His vibrato is low and deep, talking at a slowed speed due to his inebriation. He is much larger than me and even with my back still facing him I can tell its by at least a good 10 inches. 
          
            I smile as all reservation leaves my body, feeling his eager hands explore me as my mind goes to somewhere else. I let him grip my waist, imagining Noah standing behind me- touching me in the exact spot. Feeling his nails dig into my flesh, feeling him slowly making his way around to cup my stomach. They dance across the flat surface, trailing up until he reaches my breast that lay bare beneath the thin material of my blouse. I pretend the digits caressing my buttons belong to someone else, Noah’s tattooed one’s taking form in my mind. 
          
            I let out an exasperated sigh as I feel his skin connect with mine on my chest, eager for him to explore more. 
          
            We move as one for a while longer, hands on me as the room around us begins to bog out and become nothing more than a a distant echo. He’s needy as I allow him to roam me without a care, knuckles running up my neck as he exposes the skin and leans into me.

Gonna try to get another update out by the weekend! Key word- TRY!!! Work has been hectic but I’m slowly getting the next chapter done! If I can get it out for you all, how do we feel about a little chapter sneak peak?! Let me know!! 

I am so sorry for the lack of updates. I am slowly working on new chapters as we speak, and will be posting soon! It’s been a hectic few months. Dealing with a lot of loss lately and grieving so badly I can’t even explain it. Thank you so much for the continued support and understanding. I love and appreciate you all

           My dads words echo in my head, knowing he would be dissatisfied with me and the mess I've created. 
          
            The girl looking back at me doesn't deserve to feel good. To feel pretty. She's an untruthful snake that hasn't earned anything in life but sorrow. The thoughts makes my head spin, and before I can think I  feel my fist collide with the glass of the mirror. The glass crumbling beneath my knuckles as it shatters under my force. The sharp and jagged pieces dig into my flesh before crumbling in a pile at my feet, blood tricking down my hand from the shards. I smile as I watch the crimson fall to the ground. 
          
            I deserve this.

            He gave me a look that I couldn’t pick a part, and for the first time in years I am speechless. His rounded eyes pinched with a sadness so heavy they appear nearly closed. I take in the scene around me, white powder staining the glass table with a rolled up bill next to it discarded carelessly. My eyes dance from him to the grotesque scene before me, unable to look away. I can hear as my heart rattles in my chest, shaking the bones that echo in my ears and pump blood through me violently. My mind a racetrack full of thoughts that have now collided into an unmanageable mess. He opens his mouth to speak, but the words are lost somewhere between the lines of deceit. My heart shatters across the floor beneath us, but no remorse for myself can be found. I knew exactly the situation that I was walking into the day he waltz his way into my office. Full of cockiness and an attitude that’s couldn’t be extinguished even by the most powerful force. A far cry from the broken man covered in his own sorrow before me. 
          
            This is is the effects of love, and despite my best efforts to stray as far from it as possible I found myself caught in the epicenter of it all.
