A quiet chuckle escaped Akash’s lips as he continued reading.

Akash leaned back, his eyes drifting towards the snow-covered mountains.

“Dada, chai pachas paise ki hoti hai, ek rupay ki nahi!”
Akash stopped.
His eyes fell on the girl standing in front of the tea stall, arguing over fifty paise.
“Ekdom Lokkhi...”

He didn’t even realise the words had escaped his mouth.

“Excuse me, aap dono shant ho jao. Aise road block ho raha hai, shanti se solve kijiye.”
She immediately turned towards him.
“Agar itni hi problem hai toh udke chale jao. Main toh bina mere pachas paise liye nahi jaungi, samjhe?”
Akash looked at her for a moment, then quietly nodded.
“Haan.”
