The primary reason I translate books is that I often lose interest and stop reading halfway through, feeling that the book no longer captivates me. Therefore, the books I have translated, am currently translating, and will translate are all ones I have only read partway through.
By translating these works and sharing them with others, I effectively compel myself to engage with the material more thoroughly while translating for those who read the books I am working on.
