I have a question. Is it more appropriate for me to translate place names like Nanshi (南市) as ‘Nan City’ or ‘South City’? And for Ningcheng (宁城), should it be ‘Ning City’ or ‘Peace City’? Sometimes, I feel that including the word ‘city’ helps clarify that it’s a city for the reader, but other times, this translation can sound awkward—especially in cases like airports. For instance, ‘South City Airport’ sounds awkward to me, someone who is not used to it, while ‘Nanshi Airport’ sounds better. Or should I simply use the original name and add a short note below indicating that it is a city or something similar?

Resisting the urge to juggle five tasks at once is truly exhausting. When you get bored too easily, you tend to start translating multiple books at the same time, but in the end, everything gets stalled, and none of them reach completion…

@A1893F32 Wargh, that must be exhausting if it’s like that.

I uploaded 35 chapters for The Weak Villain Only Wants to Survive earlier, but the whole book seems to be missing, possibly due to a glitch…? For now, I’ll upload 10 chapters first, and later I’ll try to upload a bit more until I reach the current chapter. Luckily, I saved a copy; otherwise, T..T

Hello,

First of all, thank you for following me. Whenever there’s a new translated book, I will notify you all.

Secondly, I’ve just published my latest translated book titled The Weak Villain Only Wants to Survive. As of now, I’ve translated up to Chapter 35.

Once again, thank you all for your support!

I’m currently translating a novel, and the sentences are quite… how do I put this? Haha. I thought I was the only one with terrible writing issues because the grammar of my native language and the grammar of the country’s main language are so different that I get confused when trying to write an essay… Wait, now I’m confused…

Anyway, the story is great, but the sentences are really confusing. It’s such a headache to translate, ugh.
