It's actually vampyers and you can't just be accepted into the house of night, after all, you need to be marked, and only a high priestess can actually invite you to the house of night. Just look at Zoey and neferet.

After a long absence the House Of Night is happy to say that they are back to get the students ready for this new term. If you are wanting to join and haven't please send me a form {Although a book for that will come out soon}
