Listen, I wasn't being "up your butt" about your novel. Okay, my book is awful. It's my first book, and I hardly have no idea what I'm doing. Most of it is me going
SCREW IT GOD JUST YEAH THIS WILL WORK
and writing out of character Creepypastas.
I was giving you advice. I'm sorry, but you asked me to check it out, and I did just that. I was trying to give you advice, because poor grammar/spelling/emojis turns off readers. It doesn't look professional, and that's the simple thing. Also, I suck at writing Toby. As I've said before, he's an extremely emotionally detached character, he doesn't have a childish sense of humor, he isn't an overly sweet/loving character.
The creator has stated this. The fandom blew this awesome character completely out of proportion. He's an insane, sociopathic character, sarcastic and obnoxious. This is Ticci Toby's character in his whole. I'm sorry if you were offended(?) but you simply cannot say that I was being a jerk, or claiming my book was better. I was attempting to help you, you came to me asking for me to check it out, and I tried to give you some pointers.
My book isn't some marvelous magical novella, and I do not think I'm better than anyone, because I'm far from it. I would appreciate it if next time you ask someone about checking out your book, you don't retaliate if they say something you don't want to hear. Sorry, but you simply cannot blame a person for giving you advice.
