So... how do these things usually go?
Nah, it's okay, I'll wing it.
I am not what you would call a gentleman. Although I am eligible for the title of man, since I am finally nineteen years of age. I fell in love with reading after my mother locked me in my bedroom when I was eight years old with nothing but a book I had to learn to read. To say the least, her . . . um, teachings did benefit me immensely as I quickly fell in love with books and began to devour book after book, moving from Harry Potter to Percy Jackson to Skulduggery Pleasant.
It was a few years later when I had begun to read a brand new book series called Department 19 that I was suddenly overcome with a strange urge to spill out all those ideas that were bubbling in my head onto a piece of paper. So I grabbed my pen and paper and I wrote my first Short Story.
It sucked.
But I did not let that stop me but instead mold me and push me into writing more and more stories, both short and long.
They all sucked. A lot.
But as the years began to progress they began to suck a lot less. I was learning from reading the books of some of the best known and unknown authors in the world. I finally created plot and meaning to my work and while I did fall many times to many writing traps (mainly Mary-Sue) I feel I am well educated in which tropes to avoid.
But just in case I still fall for any of them in any future books I may write, do feel free to criticize me in a constructive manner.
I am more interested in reading than I am in music (I know, that's pretty sad) and because of that I cannot pick any particular musician to call my favorite.
Although that being said I do massively enjoy Taylor Swift.
I am also a huge nerd when it comes to superheroes. I have always been one and I always will be. I just love the plot and structure and ideology of the very concept of a hero, let alone a super one.
My favorite is Spider-Man.
Why?
That's a rhetorical question.
(Also known to procrastinate from time to time.)
