First of all, happy New Year everyone.
After a long pause, I’ve finally decided to get back into writing.
That said, I do want to address a few things.
Firstly, I’ll be reworking parts of some existing stories. Looking back, I feel like certain elements lacked depth, and I want to give them the attention they deserve.
Secondly, a few stories have been privated for now. This is simply because I no longer feel inspired by them, or they no longer reflect the level of storytelling I want to put out.
And third, the elephant in the room. This isn’t something I enjoy addressing, but it’s been on my mind for quite a while and I can’t ignore it any longer. I’ve always believed in separating art from artist, and character from actor. However, with everything that has transpired throughout 2024 and 2025, there comes a point where I no longer feel comfortable doing so.
Everyone is entitled to their own views on religion, politics, and personal beliefs. That said, I cannot and will not continue to support or uplift individuals whose mentality is fundamentally opposed to my own values. Because of that, after a lot of thought, I’ve decided to recast certain actors or faceclaims.
I won’t be naming names, I’m not here to drag anyone. If you know, you know.
With all of that said, I will be continuing and updating the stories I still feel inspired by, and I’m genuinely excited to fall back into writing again.
