Let's get started.....
Okay, a lot of y'all followed me for a story I wrote forever ago and was editing, but WATTPAD was dumb and since it was in my drafts, like 90% of my other drafts, I lost it. So I had two options, try to rewrite the story by memory, revise the plot to make it not as cliche, and finish the heavy editing it was under, or just trash it and forget it existed. What would you chose here, honestly
Now I have a story you should check out if you're into the "summer romance" section. The Ugly Duckling is a TF essentially about I guess you could say coming of age? go check it out though. The first chapter SUCKS because I suck at introductions to books. The second chapter is definitely better (like 3000 words better) but kind of conflicts itself in places, but that will be fixed once I start editing after I finish the book. I'm not even going to discuss chapters 3 and 4 yet, as they have not come out yet. The book is formatted to sound cliche and predictable, but I have mapped the plot and I have a pretty good turn coming up at about chapter 15-16. Because it is a relatively simple plot, as it is an actual romance book, it will be probably about 30 chapters max if I don't change much of the plot. Like I said, it is cliche right now, but it will change. I'm not saying it will be this huge deal about how it starts with cliches then ends with some dramatic amazing unpredictable plot twist like in The Bad Boys Rules (pretty bomb book btw) but it will be fairly good. And don't worry, there will be enough cliche moments in the beginning to satisfy your hopeless romantic thoughts. Read the forenotes for the best information on it you can get.
