Undoubtedly, you have come to the realization that I enjoy reading and writing. You may also be assured that I am slightly sarcastic. I've actually loved reading from a very young age and, not long after, my infatuation with writing stories followed. I was a bookworm in middle school and actually got in trouble in class often for reading and not paying attention in class. My parents would threaten to take my library books away if I didn't do their bidding.
For me, a good story is made up of interesting plots, romance, and good grammar. I'm a bit of a stickler for good grammar and I've gotten pretty good at editing my own works. I refuse to read any stories if the authors don't show a marginal grasp of grammar skills. I try not to be a hypocrite and follow that rule.
Most of the reading that I've done so far has been in the genre of Paranormal, even better if there's Romance. For the past five years, I've binged on Paranormal Romance until I've almost been able to predict what happens next. And I've decided to cut that boredom with some Humor. I try to infuse all of that good stuff into my own writing. The storylines that have made me want to tear out my hair are the exact ones I try to avoid. Because, let's be honest: it's true what they says about reading a story. You fall into that world. I have just chosen to fall into the ones that I've created.
Please comment and let me know your thoughts, rate my stories, spread the love and if you want me to, I might try to get through some of yours. I can't promise I'll like them or even get all the way through them but I'll try.
