️ We Need to Talk About the New Wuthering Heights...
          
          Okay, I finally saw the Emerald Fennell adaptation and I have thoughts. Is it just me, or was Catherine actually impossible to root for this time?
          I know she’s meant to be a 
          
          "difficult" character, but this version felt like she was just playing with everyone’s lives for the sake of it. I found myself hating her more than ever, but then there’s Heathcliff.
          I honestly felt so bad for him. 
          
          Seeing him treated like an outsider and then watching the person he’s literally soul-tethered to choose a "comfortable" life with Linton... it was heartbreaking. 
          
          Even with all the dark, vengeful stuff he does later, I couldn't help but feel like he was just a product of how everyone broke him.
          
          What did you guys think?
          
          Did Catherine’s choices make sense to you, or was she just being cruel?
          Team Heathcliff or are they both just toxic? 
          Also, can we talk about that ending? I’m still processing.
