Toxic readers who can’t respect Binibining Mia’s decision—yes, it’s truly disappointing that Marnella won’t be able to get the role, especially since many of us have anticipated it for a long time. But the decision has already been made. Inay Mia has clearly explained that it simply can’t happen. If you truly value I Love You Since 1892, stop the bashing and name-calling. It’s her story, and she has every right to make decisions about it. If you don’t like the adaptation, then don’t watch it, stick with your own imagination. But don’t cross the line by calling Inay Mia names she doesn’t deserve.
It may be disappointing, but we need to accept it and at least give the benefit of the doubt. Viva already knows who we want for the adaptation. That should be enough. Let’s stop posting and commenting below-the-belt statements that might hurt someone. Stop being so close minded.
