Okay, guys... I have recently been reading a book about a woman who became a chef at a restaurant and got into a competition with the best chef there for a promotion. The last I remember, the cover was of a blurred woman and a man cooking together. (Not a photo). This book has since disappeared from my library and as it wasn't finished, I hadn't added it to a reading list. If anyone has a clue what this books title is, or if it has been deleted, please tell me.

Hi Rosie, thank you for adding my book to your list.
Let me know if you enjoy it!

If you finished it, be sure to follow Prize Fight, the sequel.
            The fun continues :)

Thank you! :D Yes, writing 1st person is always dangerous, but it fit the style of story I wanted to tell... Pertuli is something of a "Dr. Watson" character. (Although I didn't want to tell the whole story from that viewpoint)

It was great! I was a bit dubious at first due to the switching perspectives because that can go very badly wrong but you did amazingly and I could really see each character's personality coming through the words when it was in their perspective. Well done.
