Iris Washington is a romantic at heart, born and raised in New Jersey. Always interested in the human condition, she moved to southeastern Pennsylvania in order to pursue a masters in Mental Health Counseling. This education has given her a deeper understanding of why we feel such powerful emotions, such as love, hate, and despair - and more importantly, that what one does with them is as unique as the individual themselves. She observes these concepts and more in her debut novel ARIES, where its characters are forced to contend with the reality that not all choices made in the name of love are in the best interests of themselves, or others around them.
