Lowly peasant, now officially a WattPad junkie. Just a small offer to all, I am very happy to help ye scribes of the wattpad wasteland with proof reading, if you like. Just drop me a line otherwise I will keep my big mouth shut. Lol. If you are interested as well, I have a very large animal knowledge base. Horses are my forte, and if you would like any references made more accurate let me know. It isn't much, but I would like to give something back to the fantastic writers here on WP, since you are not being paid for your work......yet.:);)
Yo those poor souls reDing anything I write, my phone suffers from a condition is (at least for my possessed device) the Samsung Galaxy Axis 9 multiple dysfunctional mess with your head disorder. Symptoms include but are not limited to completely altering your intended phrase in some sneaky subtle way, to appear as though you have some major psychiatric illness or a severe substance abuse problem. the only known cure is to upgrade to a laptop preferably a MacBook.
Sadly I have read a number of stellar works on WattPad that have hundreds of thousands and some even MILLIONS of reads, yet only a smattering of votes. I am quite disappointed for the authors, it is simply tragic. There is a dragon trilogy by jen1234 that is a perfect example. It is amongst some of the finest work I have had the privelage of reading, on or off WattPad, yet no comments or votes and depressingly low reads.
The insignificant fraction of a second to vote should be a reflex and incumbent upon the reader. I personally feel that readers should not be allowed to continue reading a particular work until they have voted. If you appreciated the read, you would obviously vote if it was that awful that you wouldnt vote, why continue reading? Just a thought.
Angry on behalf of underappreciated authors,
humble regards,
IronPaw.
