...Below me was a field of eternal light, shining with a magnitude of warmth and joy which I had never imagined before. A dome covered it, all, protecting it and shielding it from the darkness that surrounded it. Magnificent fields of greenery bloomed in a fashion I'd never expected, nor experienced, in all my time as a goddess of nature. Here was something more. Something deeper. I was astounded, taken completely aback. The wonder of the world below sang to the deepest depths of my soul. Spirits of pure light, joy, danced upon the abundance of the oasis below, rejoicing so much I could feel their delight from where I stood, high above them, in the palace of the dead. Meadows that spanned for acres untold, babbling brooks of the purest water, and trees that swayed in joyous fashion, reaching towards the souls that danced below them as if wishing for a taste of their happiness. 

I had no words for the wonder below me. I felt I could watch them, all, forever. Standing at the precipice of hell, I was witnessing heaven unfold. 
I looked at Hades, my mouth open. I could not speak. 

Hades smiled, pleased. 

"Elysium" He said, softly.
