Ever since I was younger I was a sucker for a good story; whether through Music, Television, Movies, or Literature. This love for stories led me to want to create my own. In grade school I filled a five-star-five-subject notebook worth of song lyrics. I quickly learned however that I can not sing or play a instrument. Today I have refocused my passion into a new medium. A year and half ago I began writing a novel. Quickly jotting down chapters, to try and finish it as soon as possible, I became frustrated that it did not sound good. 2020, of all the years, has given me opportunity to learn how to adapt better. This new knowledge has lead me to realize that it is ok to scrap a word, sentence, paragraph, or whole page if it doesn't work. Now I hope "Will", my first novel, will be finished in the next two years. Intermittently I'm going to be writing some short stories and self reflections.
