At 37 and about to embark on a Creative Writing Degree, I have to admit I am scared. I have always loved writing but have never had the confidence to put pen to paper. After completing an Access to Higher Education Diploma and re-taking my English GCSE I applied to University. It was a case of now or never. The University I chose accepted me, surely that says I am relatively good at what I do?
I am lucky enough to have a son who is 7, twins who are 4 and a wonderful husband to keep me inspired and motivated to succeed plus I work part time as a barmaid in a small country pub where the locals keep me entertained and constantly feed me with ideas. So what do I have to lose?
Here I am, like me or not. This is my passion, my life, my future.
