I am a science fiction and fantasy novelist writing primarily for YA audiences. I live in California and grew up in Montana and Alaska. I've loved fantasy and science fiction since I was a kid. I've been writing for as long as I can remember. My first "books" were video game rewrites because I am also an avid gamer. As a teenager, I was excited to self-publish my first book, The Lady of Frostvale, but as an adult, I have moved on to other, better projects. I enjoy gaming, Celtic and classical music, and of course, great books. My day job involves tutoring a wide range of students from first graders to adults in college. I love learning, and I always hope to inspire someone's thoughts and imagination.
