I am an avid writer and have been since I was 15 (roughly) often forgoing parties because I was more excited about a story I'd been working on instead. I am 21 right now so my writing is still a little rough, personally I don't like straightforward characters and situations (unless they subvert expectations) so I'm constantly trying writing people who are people, the good and bad and especially the ugly. because that is really where the fun is in writing.
