Hey guys! I know it’s been a minute. Well, okay, a little longer than that lol. But I’m back and so is the next update for The Vermillion Strain. Life has ebbed and flowed more than I’d like, but things have settled down some and I expect to post updates once or twice a month. As always, I appreciate your support! Any comments and constructive criticism are always welcomed, and I can’t thank you enough for the reads and the votes!

Hey guys! Thanks so much to everyone who has been reading and voting and especially commenting! I’ll reply to comments as soon as I can.
          
          It means so much and I’m particularly grateful for those of you readers who keep coming back, even in the midst of your own writing and breaks from Wattpad. That absolutely amazes me. 
          
          Usually when people take a break from reading something, that’s it. Modern attention spans are short and I can see why: life is so busy! So words can’t express how grateful I am that whenever you guys find time to read my work you do. And that is why I hate that it has been so long since my last post. 
          
          I wanted to let you all know that this isn’t part of a new normal and that I haven’t disappeared or abandoned my book. 
          
          Unfortunately, a close relative who was cancer free for a while is now battling it again. I’m also doing a lot to get through the last round of what’s necessary to get past my own health issues. Pulmonary embolisms are no joke and like to deal serious damage. They definitely picked the wrong girl to mess with, but recovering has been hard and there are a couple of particularly difficult things that will be wrapping up in late August.
          
           I’ll be getting back to writing around then and a more regular posting schedule. And of course, reading! I’ve got some major catching up to do! Anyway just wanted to keep you guys posted. Thanks for sticking with me. <3

Guess what guys? The Vermillion Strain: Book 1 has a new update. Chapter 6 is here. I hope you all enjoy it! As always, your reads, votes, and feedback mean the world to me. Especially the feedback, it’s honestly priceless. 

Is Wattpad acting weird for anyone else? It’s claiming other people’s comments are deleted even when they’re right there in front of me and it seems to have unliked comments that I liked. I’ve seen a few people complain about it being glitchy but nothing specific. So bizarre. 

Okay, so that weekend update that I promised came to fruition and is finally here! There’s a new chapter of The Vermillion Strain: Book I. It looks like I’ll be able to get back to my regular posting schedule pretty soon here, so you guys can expect another update within the next seven days, if not sooner. I’m excited to get back to reading y’alls books at my normal pace again, too. I’ve really missed that! Anyway, thank you to everyone who has been reading and leaving comments and feedback, it’s invaluable. Hope you enjoy the new chapter!

Hey guys! I know it’s been longer than usual since I’ve had an update but the holidays were absolutely insane in a way that I’m sure plenty of people can relate to. 
          
          Anyway, I’ve been working on the next three chapters of The Vermillion Strain: Book I. They’re tied so closely together that it was pretty much impossible to work on them as completely separate things, but I should have an update ready to go for this weekend. Stay tuned!
