And here we are. One day from the launch of "What Happened at Kate's House"

Tomorrow I cross one off my bucket list that I was never sure would ever happen, and had basically given up on (at least for this story). To anyone who supported the story as it grew and changed, Thank you. Even to my harshest of critics, I say thank you, you help me find the weak points and make my stories better.

Look for "What Happened at Kate's House" on Amazon and from my publisher currently. there is an ISBN so you can ask you're local Bookstore to stock as well. It's been a helluva ride, and hopefully only the first in this wacky world of writing.

          	Once again, thanks to all.

@DarrenDean1 Well it's up there in both Kindle format and Paperback now. Crazy times, no doubt.

@JasonTemple I am glad you did that. Cause Kevin the Douche has to be the all-time best written worst humans ever. I am not sure I have ever loved to hate-laugh on a character more than Kevin. But seriously though, huge congrats on getting published, dude. Very cool (And I will definitely be checking on Amazon.)

@DarrenDean1 thinking about it. also in the middle of fumbling through my expansion on the What Happened Universe with what else happened.

My publisher actually wanted me to tone Kevin down but I stuck on that point and refused.

So, wow.

Guys and girls, I have taken down all of "What Happened at Kate's House" other than Chapter 1 and the prologue. The reason? it's getting published, which is something I didn't think I'd be able to say about it but now I can happily.

thanks for any and all support any of you have thrown my way.

JasonTemple

@BridgesTunnels thanks. it really came out of nowhere as I'd moved on from this story. Someone in a writing group I'm part of offered quotes on professional editing and I thought, What the hell, and sent it to her.

Turns out that she worked at a Publishing house, and liked it so much she pitched it, and here I am now with a contract.

Hey Guys,

I know it's been forever and a day (October of last year to be exact) I just haven't had a lot to say and I wonder how many people even read these notices at all at times.

I'm been back and around bumping up against 3 or 4 of my past story ideas, starting something and playing with others. I still haven't settled on a single project to work on but I have also now made myself a deal.

I listened to "What Happened At Kate's House" on my text to speech reader over the past week and I have come to the conclusion that there are a lot of grammar errors and typos/spelling mistakes that I desperately need to go back and fix. I also need to add more about character motivations and tweak some aspects of the story, and completely re-write others.

So this is the deal I made myself. For every chapter of something else I write (doesn't all have to be the same project either, just in general) I'm allowing myself to work on editing/re-writing a chapter of "What Happened".

So far I have to smooth out the first chapter. everything seems jerky and stop motion for me there and I need to smoother it out and make the transitions between emotions flow better. from there I'll move on, so please, if you are going to comment on things you like and things you don't like, or point out Motivations that aren't obvious, etc, go through and do so, that way I can take it into consideration as I once again work my way through "What Happened", at least until my ADHD turn my head to some other shiny new project.

thanks for being a fan and following me, and once again sorry for the lack of content.

Hi Followers, long time no post I know.

I've been doing a lot of soul-searching as I lost the thread of "Meaghan's Sway" and was floundering without a project to sink my teeth into. I've been re-reading the books that inspired me to write originally, and going over a lot of things and find myself drawn back to my youth (which, if you know me, was rough and frought with Bullies and the like.)

I'm going to start setting down a new story. I'll share some of it on here but I'm not sure how much will make it. I'm still not sure if this will be a memoir or a fictionalized retelling of the things I went through at the hands of others in high school and beyond. i have no idea what the length will be and what the overall message will be other than a positive one, as I'm collecting the scenes from my life I want to put in here.

I was once told that the way that Steve from "What Happened at Kate's House" views the world, and the way he is treated in return were both ludicrous and not realistic in any way, and it gave me some serious pause to stop and look at things. As he was based on the Me that I wish I had been, his attitudes and trials if anything was watered down from my own and I find it hard to believe I'm the only one out there that went through things the way that I did.

I'm not pulling punches, on my bullies or on myself in this one. Whether it ends up being for my own cathartic release, or actually reaches out and helps somebody I am looking forward to finally writing a story I knew I would write someday, no matter how much it scares me.

As with everything on here, I appreciate any feedback any of you deign to give to me, and look forward to starting this journey with you here too.

Keep on keeping on people and enjoy.

Hi all, Long time no update from me. Sorry about that, the writing bug ebbs and flows and for the longest time my body was just saying "go play Destiny 2" :-)

Anyways, I just re-uploaded a new and improved opener for "Meaghan's SWay" which is showing a major change in the narrative direction based on feedback from a very cool reader who I shared a Major plot twist with.

I also shifted the book from First to Third person as for this story it actually works much better this way and flows. Anyone who wants to check it out let me know if you can see what changes I made and if they give you ideas on what I'm working towards (would love to see if I'm being too subtle or just subtle enough).

As well I just changed the genre for the book from Paranormal to Fantasy, while it's pretty easy to rank in Paranormal, there isn't a huge following to take advantage of and leverage for reads, so here's looking forward to a lot more social networking to get my fan base off the ground in Fantasy.

Thanks everyone for being a fan and reading my work, and don't be afraid to tell me if you like or don't like something, I take all of those comments to heart when I think about re-writes and if I need a change of direction for a story.

Well, my rewrite of "Meaghan's Sway" was underway, but I've stopped because I just had a phenomenal idea.

Thankfully I didn't post the opener yet. Here's hoping I can pull this idea off., hoping to have something up later today or sometime this weekend.
