Jeffrey Pickett was born in Columbia, Missouri in the latter 1960’s. When a freak thermonuclear disaster destroyed his basement and most of the second floor (the first floor was saved), Jeff inherited strange and abnormal creative powers. His first book, a non-fiction health guide entitled “Caveman Resurrection,” won absolutely no prizes and is deemed by many to be the worst start an author could launch his career on. Now with an appetite for vengeance, Jeff is back, only this time he’s putting all the cards on the proverbial table (and the dining room table as well) with a mystery-thriller due out later 2015. Fashioning himself as a fan of many including Stephen King and James Rollins, many are already predicting his next book to be a runaway success.

Jeff is an aspiring writer who is currently working on his first fictional piece. Every weekday morning you can find the author setting up office at a rotational scheme of coffee shops in Sioux Falls. Enjoying the variety of locations, Jeff taps into the vibe of wherever he is, with a goal of chugging out 3000 words each day. When he isn't writing, he's busy working out, doing CrossFit with his wife and family.
