I am Jeffrey Beaumont.  I hold an MA in English with a creative writing concentration from SUNY Brockport.  I have published a few poems and stories in local, college and online literary magazines.  I am also an actor, teacher, and veteran.

My writing is often drawn from my background and lived-experiences.  I enjoy satire, quirky romances, coming-of-age tales and war stories.  

I was once told I have the emotional state of an 11-year-old boy.  Charming, I know -- the perpetual manchild!  Yet I am aware, so -- plus, this is fitting with the theme of one of my longest essays, entitled, Eleven Years Old and is more or less the impetus for my writing voice and this creative journey as a lifelong writer.  I'll start posting these writings along with some "Unselected Poems" on my blog.  See below.
